SalaryOptics is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
SalaryOptics targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We also follow the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements for digital accessibility.
Measures we have taken
- Skip to main content link — visible on keyboard focus, allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation (WCAG 2.4.1)
- Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy (h1–h6), landmark roles (header, main, nav, footer), and ARIA labels throughout
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard with visible focus indicators (WCAG 2.4.7)
- Color contrast — all text meets WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Text alternatives — all meaningful images and icons have descriptive alt text or aria-label attributes (WCAG 1.1.1)
- Minimum touch targets — all interactive elements have a minimum touch target of 44×44px (WCAG 2.5.5)
- Reduced motion — animations are disabled for users who have enabled "prefers-reduced-motion" in their OS settings (WCAG 2.3.3)
- Form labels — all form inputs have associated visible labels and error messages (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2)
- Table headers — all data tables use scope attributes for row and column headers (WCAG 1.3.1)
- ARIA live regions — dynamic content updates are announced to screen readers
- High contrast mode — the site adapts to Windows High Contrast Mode
- Print styles — print-specific CSS ensures legibility when printing
Known limitations
We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Some third-party ad content may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We are not responsible for accessibility compliance of external ad content.
